‘We’re not ready for the shelf’: ԰�� hosts documentary premiere about older homeless people

Victoria Burns uses film as a research vehicle to shine a light on the growing issue of older Canadians experiencing homelessness. She calls film the language of the heart, and says it has great strengths as a collaborative research tool for participants.

Dozens of community members, care providers and agency representatives came together for Living, Dying, Surviving and Thriving: Working Together to Improve the Lives of People Experiencing Homelessness. The forum was hosted by Street CCRED (Community Capacity in Research, Education, and Development) at the Cumming School of Medicine.
