Alumni‑built coffee company teams up with Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ for special anniversary-themed product

Canadian Heritage Roasting Co. launches special Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ60 edition of Flash Fuel

To celebrate the University of Calgary’s 60th anniversary, the university has partnered with Alumni Built Business (CHRC) to create a UC60 edition of . 

First released in 2021, Flash Fuel boasts Canada’s first organic, made‑in‑Canada instant coffee. For the UC60 collaboration, the product received a special box‑art redesign featuring retro stripes and colours inspired by the anniversary.  

We sat down with Jamie Parker, BSc, Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ alum and president of CHRC, to talk about the partnership, as well as the ideas that have guided the company’s growth. Parker reflects on the journey, from his early to co‑founding a national coffee brand.  

As UC60 marks six decades of innovation and community impact, partnerships like this celebrate the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ alumni.
