Research Legal Services/Support Provided
The Research Legal team provides support for the preparation, review, and execution of non-clinical research agreements for all Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ faculties with the exception of the Cumming School of Medicine. The provides support for CSM faculty members and all clinical agreements.

We support Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ researchers by:
* Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating research agreements with sponsors, post-secondary institutions, industry, government, and non-profit partners.
* Ensuring research agreements align with Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ’s legal, policy, and other institutional requirements, and that they accurately reflect the nature and scope of the project or activity.
* Collaborating with PIs and research facilitators to incorporate their input and ensure the research agreement supports their research goals.
* Supporting agreement execution and internal processing, in coordination with other Ô°ÇøÒùÂÒ departments.
